The Mission Shaped Church

If you've followed my posts over the last few days, you'll know that I have been retracing the paths of my reading that have led me to where I am today.  I've been reconstructing (and hopefully improving,) the contents of my old blog - and mining the internet for the resources that have inspired me. Some of them have been pretty hard to find.  Here is one such resource.

It's a paper called "The Mission Shaped Church," by Rev. Graham Cray. The thing that never left me from this paper is his analysis in chapter 1 "Changing Contexts," which describes how the church was designed for an agricultural society and is sadly ill equipped to deal with our fragmented culture. As always I will be adding my thoughts below as I have them.
